Cynthia James has spent years bridging the worlds of science, education, and spirituality.
- Served for six years as a guest facilitator at Colorado School of Mines, co-leading the Science and Spirituality course and guiding future STEM innovators to explore deeper connections between inquiry and meaning.
- Collaborated as part of a four-member faculty team on the John Templeton Foundation grant, Teaching With Heart, empowering STEM educators to bring compassion and human connection into their classrooms.
- Currently serving as part of a team of facilitators on a $1 million grant initiative from Wake Forest University to Virginia Tech, focused on equipping STEM professors with tools to integrate compassion, emotional intelligence, and heart-centered practices into their teaching.
